Hi, I little about me;
I am a collage/ encaustic/ mixed media artist best described as a quirky girl with an
eye for imagination, however quirky that may be.
A self-taught artist born and raised in Oklahoma. It is my belief that we all possess an innate ability and desire to create.
Metal Pieces:
Fascinated by transient tokens of varying eras, my metal pieces draw together mementos of times past, such as drawer handles, oil tins, bed springs that have a whimsical flare.
Wax Collages:
I use beeswax and resin, a long with encaustic paints with layers of handmade papers, postcards, photography, cloth with metal accents to evoke the nostalgia of old-world eras that spark the imagination, with a twist of humor.
Vintage Dictionary Pendants:
Fused glass, with vintage dictionary beneath that are silver soldered on the sides and back. We all have words that touch us, some sweet, silly and sassy. An individual way to express ourselves.
Currently I reside in Dallas, Texas with my husband & three dogs.
In addition, my greatest achievement has been raising our three sons and two stepsons.
