I paint the world in technicolor, bright vivid images that are just a little sweeter than reality. I've always favored watercolor as a medium; I enjoy adding layers of pigment to achieve just the right color.
I have a professional background (10+ years) in graphic design and marketing, but left the corporate world to pursue art full time. Working out of my home studio in rural Texas, I use the environment, experience and imagination to create my paintings.
When I'm not painting, I like to dig in the garden, bake, take pictures, tweet (@favoriteflower on twitter), and admire other people's art. I also like to make cards & prints of my watercolor paintings.
