ecoFashionistas was born out of an environmental display for the traveling Smithsonian exhibit, Rock the Green Revolution, at the Bob Jones Nature Center in Southlake, Texas. We are two sisters, Karla Schafer and Katrina Peebles, that collaborated to create unique jewelry and accessories from recycled materials — upcycled fashions — repurposing recyclable materials into products of higher quality. After receiving so much interest in our creative designs, we decided to form ecoFashionistas!
