Tilesmiles are handmade blue/green earthenware italian style clay tiles for installation in kitchen or bathroom backsplashes, gift giving, weddings, parties or special occasions. Each tile in my funky finds shop measures 3 inches square, handmade from red earthenware clay, and glazed with a combination of specially designed glazes, giving a rich comforting multicolored effect. Blues, greens, gold and pink hues emerge with the words showing through the rich color of the clay. No two are alike.
Fired to 2000 degrees, these tiles can be used for installations, art projects, house remodels and new construction, showers, backsplashes, and mirrors. A very unique custom item for wedding favors too.
